In 2017, Dr. Ricardo Neil, Senior Lecturer of the Associates of Applied Sciences of Information Technology at CFBC, received a call from the former Permanent Secretary of Education, Mr. William Vincent Hodge, with a proposal for Saint Kitts and Nevis to be part of the FIRST Global Robotics Olympics. This task was accepted by Dr. Ricardo Neil and his enthusiastic team of CFBC TVEMS final year Associates of Applied Sciences Information Technology students, who made it an objective to represent St. Kitts and Nevis on a global scale. After much research, training, and development, St. Kitts and Nevis was qualified to compete in the FIRST Global Robotics Olympics, which has now allowed St. Kitts and Nevis to be annually invited to compete globally in robotics.

SKNRA would like to thank Mr. Vincent Hodge for his support of the St. Kitts and Nevis Robotics team in 2017 and 2018. We thank you, sir, for your unwavering support during that time. We wish you all the best.
